About The Sir Toby’s Hostel

Sir Toby’s is an excellent option if you are looking for a conveniently located hostel in the poplar “Holesovice” area near to Old Town. The Art Nouveau building has a relaxed and comfortable vibe and includes it’s own brick-walled pub. Clean rooms and friendly staff make Sir Toby’s a favorite among return visitors to Prague.

Sir Toby’s hostel is situated in the heart of a neighbourhood called “Holesovice”. Holesovice sits on the north side of the river across from Old Town. The neighborhood has a great mix of cultural and entertainment options. Holesovice is home to the DOX which contains a fascinating collection of contemporary art. Also nearby are the clubs Mecca, Cross Club and SaSaZy. The neighbourhood also has it’s own market called Holesovickan Trznice and a number of parks. Stromovka park in particular is worth a visit, especially on a sunny day as it is the largest green space in Prague.

Sir Toby’s offers a mix of private and shared rooms. Sir Toby’s has 6 bed dorm rooms available with both mixed and female only options. There is a 12 bed dorm rooms with mixed, male only and female only options. For private rooms there are single rooms with private ensuite, twin private rooms with a shared bathroom, double bed private room with ensuite and a standard four bedroom with private ensuite.

Sir Toby’s hostel has an excellent range amenities including free wi-fi, lockers, bicycle hire and a bbq. Reception is available 24 hours a day making checking in easy. There is a shared kitchen and it’s own pub if you don’t feel like venturing out. Airport pickup and breakfast is available on request. The building itself is Art Nouveau style with a cosy, vintage feeling.

Sir Toby’s is conveniently location near to Hlavni Nadrazi metro train station. When you exit the train station you simply need to catch an tram that is departing from your left hand side, if the metro train station is to your back. Get off at the second tram stop which is Delnicka and then walk to the intersection before turning onto Delnicka street. Sir Toby’s is located about 100 metres down on the left hand side. If you are coming directly from the airport you can take the #119 bus to the very last stop Nadrazi Veleslavin. You then take the green Metro line A.
